Opening in December 2026, Merihelmi Aurora Sea Resort is a brand-new boutique resort located on the shores of the Bothnian Bay in Kuivaniemi, Ii, just 14 km south of the Lapland border. The resort is easily accessible from Oulu, Kemi, and Rovaniemi via excellent road connections.
At Aurora Sea Resort, you can escape from everything without being far from anything.

Aurora Sea Resort was born from a simple idea: to create a place that truly belongs to its surroundings.Built on the shores of the Bothnian Bay, the resort brings together local craftsmanship, Finnish wood and contemporary Nordic design.
From the construction of our villas to the details within them, we have chosen to work with local makers and partners wherever possible.
And that same philosophy continues beyond the buildings. The food, experiences and stories of Aurora Sea Resort are shaped together with people who know this coast as home.
