Visit Reindeer Farm
Meet our friendly reindeer and experience the peaceful beauty of the Arctic coast. Feed the reindeer by hand, hear fascinating stories about their life and traditions, and enjoy an authentic moment surrounded by snowy forests and the Bothnian Bay.
Your host will welcome you to the reindeer farm, where you’ll have the opportunity to feed and gently pet the reindeer while learning about their behaviour, history and their important role in northern culture. Take your time to enjoy the tranquil surroundings, breathe in the fresh sea air and, in the evening, admire the stars or, with a little luck, the Northern Lights.
Guests who prefer a quieter experience are also welcome to simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere alongside the reindeer.
The visit includes warm berry juice made from our own garden’s produce and a traditional Finnish treat.
You will also receive a small souvenir according to the real reindeer mark.
The farm hosts handle transportation to and from Merihelmi.
